Overview
The Advanced Programme in Psychotherapy Integration course is an online programme, running over three terms, to deepen the theoretical understanding and practice of integrative psychotherapy, with a focus on relational approaches.
Module 2 focuses on therapists, helping them develop more self-awareness and personal integration, fundamental qualities to any effective psychotherapy.
The course can be attended in two modalities:
- An online programme that includes weekly live lectures
- A facilitated, self-study, online programme that includes both live and pre-recorded lectures.

Overview

Module 2 focuses on therapists, helping them develop more self-awareness and personal integration, fundamental qualities to any effective psychotherapy.
The course is a facilitated, self-study, online programme that includes both live and pre-recorded lectures. The group is managed by a facilitation team, who are available to answer questions and provide guidance.
Module Programme – Live
Each week you’ll take part in a live lecture led by Dr Tanya Lecchi., accompained by a selection of recommended readings to deepn your understanding. For students interested in sharing the learning experience with other participants, the facilitators will create small study groups, who can meet between sessions (this part of the programme is not compulsory).

At the end of the module, you will receive a certificate of participation.

Every week you will be able to access a video recorded lecture and a list of additional reading material. In week 5 and 10 there will be two additional live webinars with Dr Tanya Lecchi. For students interested in sharing the learning experience with other participants, the facilitators will create small study groups, who can meet between sessions (this part of the programme is not compulsory).

Course Leader

Dr. Tanya Lecchi
Tanya Lecchi is a psychologist and relational psychotherapist (BPS Chartered Psychologist, HCPC Registered Counselling and Clinical Psychologist) whose work bridges clinical practice, academic research, and interdisciplinary inquiry. She is dedicated to exploring psychological experience within complex relational, cultural, and developmental contexts.
Tanya is a course tutor on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) programme at the University of Oxford and a Senior Research Fellow at the Child Attachment and Psychological Therapies Research Unit (ChAPTRe) at the Anna Freud Centre, affiliated with University College London (UCL).
Her research and teaching focus on attachment, developmental pathways, and therapeutic processes, cultivating reflective clinical practice informed by empirical rigour and relational depth.
Tanya’s academic interests also extend to the humanities, fostering a rich dialogue between psychology, literature, philosophy, and the arts. She is passionate about exploring how these fields inform and deepen understanding of the human condition and therapeutic practice.
Requirements
The course is open to psychologists and psychotherapists, including trainees.
Proof of body accreditation will be required on application.
