Overview
Discover the Transformative Power of Menstrual Cycle Awareness in Therapeutic Practice
This experiential session offers psychotherapists, counsellors, and mental health practitioners a unique opportunity to explore the menstrual cycle as a profound and holistic aspect of human experience. Moving beyond the biological or medical lens, the session will focus on the emotional, relational, and transpersonal dimensions of the menstrual cycle—revealing its potential as a powerful tool for self-awareness and integration in therapy.
Drawing on clinical theory, research, and lived practice, you’ll learn how to incorporate menstrual cycle awareness into your therapeutic approach. The session aims to inspire and equip participants with practical insights to engage more deeply with this essential element of embodied psychotherapy.
Inclusivity
While this session centres on the menstrual cycle, we recognise that not all women menstruate and not everyone who menstruates identifies as a woman. Our approach is grounded in respect for diverse identities and lived experiences. We warmly welcome therapists of all genders—including women, men, and gender-diverse individuals—to engage in this exploration of how menstruality can shape the therapeutic relationship in meaningful and inclusive ways.
