Susan’s extensive background in education has given her unique insights into the academic pressures and social challenges students face at different stages of development. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Education, a Graduate Diploma in Counselling, and a Master of Studies in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy from the University of Oxford. Susan’s approach is rooted in empathy and tailored to each individual, combining person-centered counseling with mindfulness-based cognitive therapy techniques.
Through her compassionate guidance, Susan fosters a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and goals. Her mindfulness-based cognitive therapy approach helps clients cultivate awareness, reduce stress, and develop coping skills, empowering them to build greater self-understanding and emotional balance.

Throughout her career, Susan has worked extensively with both children and adults in diverse environments, including private sectors and NGOs, helping clients manage challenges related to neurodiversity, anxiety, perfectionism, depression, cultural transitions, and personal growth.
Her approach is rooted in respect for individual needs, emphasising gentle, evidence-based techniques to foster resilience and well-being.
As an MBACP Accredited counsellor, Susan is deeply committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces for clients to explore and develop their emotional and mental health.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Susan holds numerous certifications that deepen her expertise. These include advanced training in Deeper Mindfulness with Prof. Mark Williams, Trauma-Sensitive Therapy with David Treleaven, and Interocneption and Conceptual Processing with Dr. Norman Farb. She is also progressing in British Sign Language (Level 2), further expanding her ability to support diverse clients. Her professional training covers a broad spectrum of critical areas such as safeguarding (OSCB Children and Adults), Prevent Safeguarding, Sexual Harassment and Violence Training (OU), and skills-based certifications like Social Skills Training through the Social Thinking Curriculum (USA) and Parent Skills Training with the Incredible Years (USA).
