I hold a chartered membership with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). As a fully accredited Clinical Integrative Psychotherapist with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), I adhere to the stringent ethical frameworks for good practice in ‘Counselling and Psychotherapy’ set forth by UKCP and BPS. Upholding client confidentiality, I actively engage in regular supervision of my clinical practice, ensuring that I consistently deliver an ethically sound and professional service to my clients.
My Expertise
I completed my clinical training in the UK at the esteemed Metanoia Institute in London, where I earned my doctorate in Counselling Psychology and clinical diplomas in integrative and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
Throughout my training, I gained practical experience through placements in various mental health settings, including a psychiatric hospital specialising in complex mental illness, brain injury, and dementia.
In my private practice, my specialisations lie in working with complex trauma, late diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in women, and family estrangement, with the latter being the focus of my doctoral research.
