Letticia Banton
MSc (Psychotherapy)
I am a UKCP-qualified integrative psychotherapist with over seven years of clinical experience, dedicated to providing compassionate and thoughtful support to clients. My work is rooted in a genuine interest in people, and I bring a sensitive, attuned approach to every therapeutic relationship. I am delighted to be part of the teaching team at Inner Citadel, where I can share my passion for both the theory and practice of psychotherapy with students and fellow professionals.
My Expertise
I practice both privately and at Highbury Counselling Centre, a London-based charity. My specialist area of interest is gender, and I have extensive experience working with trans and non-binary individuals, helping clients navigate identity, self-expression, and personal challenges in a supportive environment.
Alongside my clinical work, I also consult for TR Together, the CPD division of Tavistock Relationships. My role involves designing and delivering training events in collaboration with leading experts in psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, and psychology. Through this work, I contribute to the ongoing professional development of therapists by fostering deeper discussions on critical therapeutic issues.
My Training
I am currently in the final stages of completing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Integrative Psychotherapy, further solidifying my expertise in both research and practice. My doctoral research focuses on the role of the menstrual cycle in psychotherapy, exploring its psychological and relational significance within therapeutic settings.
In addition to my psychotherapy training, I hold an MSc in Psychological Sciences and an MA in History, reflecting my interdisciplinary approach to understanding human experience.
